To encourage the public to buy from women-owned and women-led businesses to raise the revenues of women-owned businesses and reward companies that support women in corporate leadership roles.
Our goals for the next five years are to:
§ Grow revenues of women-owned businesses by one third (increasing them from 4% to 6% in the US)
§ See Fortune 1000 companies employ 5% women CEO’s (currently at 2.6%)
§ See board membership for corporations, non-profits and government institutions go from current levels of 15% women participation to 20% women participation.
